Photobook fair
Saturday 8 August will see the fabulous bookfair at Te Papa featuring artists, small presses and publishers from around Aotearoa and overseas. This is a unique opportunity to turn the pages of innovative photobooks, often only available on websites and social media, in one place over five hours. Many of the books are in small editions, making them highly collectable. Be inspired, add to your photobook collection or start a new one. It’s a wonderful chance to browse and buy. Support Aotearoa’s photobook artists and the special publications from our overseas guests!
As well as publications from Aotearoa’s photobook makers, there will be tables featuring Australian, US, Latin American, Indonesian, Hong Kong and other international photobooks. Our guests Martha Naranjo Sandoval, Erin Lee, Matt Dunne of Tall Poppy Press and Ben K C Laksana and Rara Sekar Larasati will be among those showing and selling their work.
