the Aperture Portfolio Prize, Center’s Galllerist Choice Award, and the Daylight Photo Award, among
many others.

French/Moroccan photographer Carolle Bénitah spent ten years working as a fashion designer before deciding to study photography in 2001. She has graduated from École Nationale Supérieure de Photographie, Arles and lives and works in Marseilles, France.

and environment. Her photographs

Jem Southam, born in Bristol in 1950, is one of the UK's leading photographers. He is renowned for his series of colour landscape photographs, beginning in the 1970s and continuing until the present. His trademark is the patient observation of changes at a single location over many months or years.
